Road accident in Sheringham
Commuters coming into Sheringham were met with flashing lights and recovery services last night, following an accident on Holway Road. A car is believed to have left the road at the crossing point at the brow of the hill, at around 4.30pm on Weds 16th Feb. It appears the driver swerved from the crossing point, mounted the grass verge, and drove through a safety barrier to the fence/treeline behind the pavement. A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said a man was being treated for head injuries and a woman had suffered back pain, but no one was believed to have been seriously hurt.
